Who is our Instructor Course for?

  • You are passionate about pole dancing and want to share your passion.

  • You have been practicing pole dancing for at least 2 years.

  • You are able to comfortably perform all beginner moves such as climbing, fan kick, chair spin, lean back and you can invert.

  • You love seeing your fellow pole dancers progress and want to become part of their journey.

  • You want to learn how to teach with a progressive method that puts the emphasis on creating a safe space while respecting each student's differences.

  • You are committed to grow and constantly improve your pole dancing technique and teaching.

  • This program can also be useful to you if you don't intend to teach but are simply looking for a way to get back to basics and progress as a pole dancer.

Who are our instructors?

Angela Droppa

Angela.jpeg

Angela started her dance journey at 2 years old and has been in love with it since. After years of ballet, acrobatics, tap, contemporary and jazz, she was finally introduced to pole dancing at 10 years old when her mom joined the sport. Angela became an instructor in 2017 and has been telling students to point their toes ever since.

She has gotten her South African colours in Acrobatics and modern dance and recently started competing in pole.

She placed 2nd in Pole Art's artistic doubles 2019 and 1st in APAC's Alluring Apprentice, Classique division, 2021.

Dates and Costs

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

La Vie's Pole Dance Instructor Course will start in October 2024 for a graduation early 2025.

Applications close on 30th September 2024!

​The course will be split into several modules of 2-3 hours each, which will be taught at La Vie studio in Edenvale.

​

Cost: R4,500 per person

Sep 2024: Applications

Oct 2024 - Jan 2025: Course modules

Jan-Feb 2025: Practical training

Feb 2025: Exam and graduation
